Location: London (4 days in London, 1 day working from home)

As a Bridging Underwriter with us, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of loan applications and assessing the associated risks. Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing and reviewing Preliminary Offer Letters.
Coordinating with external professionals, such as lawyers and valuers, and overseeing their engagement.
Ensuring timely receipt of reports from legal, valuation, and project monitoring teams.
Following up on recommendations and ensuring their timely implementation.
Preparing Preliminary Credit Paper, analyzing risk areas, project viability, and more.
Conducting thorough due diligence on borrowers, transactions, and development plans.
Reviewing loan agreements, security documents, and suggesting necessary amendments.
Preparing the Final Credit Paper, summarizing internal and external analysis.
Assisting with investor reporting and ensuring their satisfaction with transaction terms.
Handling questions and queries from Principals and facilitating credit committee approvals.
Managing the loan transaction completion process and transitioning to the asset management team.
Skills Required & Background:
