We are very pleased to be working with an award winning lender, on their search for a sales professional to join the team as a Business Development Executive.

As Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for supporting intermediaries and the Business Development team in order to generate new business and all associated support duties.

Main duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain an agreed number of introducer/stakeholder calls per month 

  • Develop and maintain contacts / network relationships 

  • Cultivate and develop new business opportunities with brokers and intermediaries to generate repeat and referral business 

  • Ensure consistent delivery of customer experience and level of service, clearly setting out expectations of what can and cannot be achieved in designated timeframes 

  • Influence stakeholders at all levels to help delivery of targets 

  • Manage multiple relationships at all levels with external stakeholders 

  • Liaise with brokers on new and existing cases, assessing each case against the lending criteria to identify and assist in a successful completion 

  • Use market and competitor knowledge plus customer feedback to identify new opportunities and identify USPs 

  • Assist design, development and modification of processes and product offerings to best fit customer requirements / gaps in the market on a continuous basis 

  • Representing and promoting the business at trade shows, industry / corporate functions 

  • Provide regular competitor feedback 

  • Update CRM system regularly, as a minimum following each broker contact 

  • Complete ‘Case study’ forms for all completed cases 

  • Actively manage loan enquiries from brokers and clients direct, assessing the information provided and undertaking preliminary enquiries to enable indicative terms to be conveyed to the broker/client. 

  • Proactively contact existing brokers and prospects to promote the services of our client and win new business 

  • To provide support to the Business Development Managers for scheduling meetings and follow up from appointments 

  • Ensure consistent delivery of customer experience and service levels 

  • Influence stakeholders at all levels to assist with the delivery of targets 

  • Use market and competitor knowledge together with customer feedback to identify new 

  • Work closely with the underwriting department to ensure a seamless customer experience 

  • Support the Director of Sales and the underwriting team as appropriate 

  • Ensure accurate and up to date records are maintained on the CRM system
