We are pleased to be working with a fantastic lender, with a very exciting opportunity for an individual looking to progress within the Bridging finance industry.
Our client is looking for someone who has experience of dealing with the finance functions stated in the job description.
Working pattern is 3 days office, 2 days remote.
Job Title: Finance Operations Analyst
Essential Job Functions
Outline of responsibilities
Daily reporting and loan management with external funders
Daily review of deal approval models for credit team
Preparation of loan redemption statements
Preparation and calculation of loan extensions
Daily bank journals and reconciliation
Daily borrower interest payment reporting to credit team
Daily borrower repayment reconciliations and reporting to credit team
Ownership of purchase ledger and all payments, including budget tracking
Identify areas for improvement across management information and reporting
Weekly Reporting to Senior Management of lending activity
Exposure to and cover across all areas of the small business as required; Office management, IT stock management, supplier management
Outline of skills/experience required
Bridging lender or financial services background preferable but not essential
A degree is preferable but not essential
Strong Excel skills
Willingness to take on all aspects of work in small team/business
Good interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships across departments and external reporting counterparties.
Time management and multi-tasking across business-as-usual daily tasks and ad-hoc project work
