About the Role

We are currently working with an award-winning lender, who are looking for a highly organised, adaptable, and experienced marketer, who is well versed in traditional marketing and who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The core focus of the role will be to assist the Senior Marketing Manager with the design and delivery of the marketing plan, with day-to-day support for the team and activity across the full marketing suite.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects & campaigns are delivered to exacting deadlines, and to the highest of standards. In addition, the role will be integral in supporting important business relationships with key industry partners, clients and prospects.
Responsibilities include:
• To assist the Senior Marketing Manager with the management and delivery of the overall Marketing Plan
• Influence and motivate team members to ensure they achieve the highest standards of work, as required
• Manage the marketing calendar to ensure all deadlines are met
• Understand and navigate the priorities and challenges that arise
• Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure the consistent implementation of activity across the team
• Manage Email Marketing channels to complement the external advertising
• Manage shows and exhibitions to deliver a quality event every time with the Events Coordinator
• Join the Events Coordinator at shows to identify further opportunities with marketing partners and the evolving needs of our Business Development Team
• Support the Business Development Managers with appropriate literature and merchandise to allow them to adequately inform Brokers of our offering
• Lead the team to success on day-to-day tasks
• Report activity and subsequent analytics through the weekly and monthly reports
• Lead the way with data quality and management messaging on HubSpot - to champion good data and drive more targeted marketing
• Work with the Content Executive to write creative, well-thought-out content to show the business as an industry leader
• Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to support a joined-up strategy across the marketing suite
• Impact on marketing strategy with insightful ideas and commercially focussed campaigns that deliver results
• Assist with the ongoing development of the brand and brand reputation in the market, at all times
• Assist the Senior Marketing Manager with preparations and delivery of new product launches & target sectors
• Manage the marketing budget to ensure the clear documenting of payments and forecasted commitments

Requirements

  • A demonstrable track record in a similar marketing role

  • Understanding of marketing techniques and best practice

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) practices - knowledge of HubSpot is a bonus

  • Problem-solving attitude

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Aptitude for fostering positive relationships

  • Teamwork and leadership skills

  • Marketing degree or equivalent qualification (desirable)
