About the Role

We are pleased to be working with a fantastic award-winning, short-term lender in London, on their search for a Portfolio Manager to join the team.

The purpose of this role is to manage customer enquiries relating to the servicing and management of their bridging loan. To manage enquiries in line with bank policy and procedures, internal SLA and regulatory requirements, and provide industry-leading first-rate service for the business and customers.

Key responsibilities:
• To be the first point of contact on all servicing matters for customers.
• To process and manage requests from customers that may vary from their original agreement.
• To maintain a pipeline of enquiries, becoming the customer’s contact point for their application.
• To issue a timely and quality response to all enquiries.
• To manage and process these enquiries in accordance with policies and procedures.
• To manage customer accounts nearing the end of their terms, ensuring funds are repaid on time.
• To complete referrals to business support, escalating concern cases in accordance with policy.
• To maintain accurate customer records across the company’s databases and systems
• To assist with any team or bank projects or other duties as required by management from time to time.


You must have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer services environment

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a servicing role in the financial industry.

  • Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are essential


  • Lending mandate

  • Commercial/bridging experience

  • Financial regulation knowledge

  • Collections experience
