We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our clients growing team and support the current BDM in the London region. This exciting role involves shadowing the existing BDM, learning the ropes, and actively contributing to the growth of their business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceed New Business Targets: Develop tactical and strategic engagements to surpass annual new business and profitability targets.

  • Execute Strategy: Deliver required results in alignment with the company’s values and regulatory expectations.

  • New Business Contact Strategy: Create and execute a new business contact strategy to expand distribution and achieve set goals.

  • Broker/Clients Onboarding: Support the onboarding process, ensuring SLAs and regulatory quality requirements are met.

  • Proposition Implementation: Present and implement a comprehensive proposition, adding value to distribution channels.

  • Cultivate New Business Opportunities: Develop relationships with brokers and introducers for repeat and referral business.

  • Structured Approach: Establish processes for a structured approach to exceeding target achievements against agreed KPIs.

  • Channel Management: Manage distribution channels for quality of business and conversion through training, education, and support.

  • Partnerships and Relationships: Foster partnerships with introducers and represent the business at trade shows and industry functions.

  • Market Insight: Provide market and competitor insight, identifying new opportunities and key selling points.

  • Communication: Deliver effective communication of the company’s proposition.

  • Forecasting and Reporting: Deliver forecasts and KPI reporting for planning and forecasting purposes.

  • Compliance: Abide by company policies, procedures, and regulatory legislation, ensuring accurate records on the CRM system.


  • Proven experience in a similar role within the bridging finance sector.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with brokers and introducers.
