£40,000 (12 month FTC - Maternity cover)

We are looking for an experienced Case Manager, who can process new loan applications, ensuring they are fully packaged in order to pass to the Underwriting Team

Responsibilities:
To process new loan applications, ensuring fully packaged in order to pass to the Underwriting Team
To receive new applications and load all relevant information into the Loan Origination System. Action all relevant application tasks.
Check applications against the packaging list for the product selected
Acknowledge application, advising the broker of outstanding items required before the loan will be passed to the underwriting team
When outstanding packaging items are received, carry out due diligence searches and review adverse against current criteria. Update the loan origination system with search results and action all relevant application tasks.
Reject any cases that do not fit adverse criteria.
Obtain quotes for legals and valuation
Instruct third parties
Deal with phone calls into the lending team and make outbound calls where appropriate
Pipeline management – cases should be updated at least every five days. Where there is no meaningful communication the case manager must proactively liaise with the BDM about closing the case or requesting a commitment fee.
Ensure valuations are received promptly and passed to the underwriter for review. Case manager to update the relevant fields and actions on the loan origination system
Case managers are subject to their own QA review/accuracy/productivity/call handling standards
Ensure all tasks are actioned within current business SLA.
Act in a professional manner in all dealings internally and externally
Support the Company’s objectives in a positive manner

Skills and experience:
Excellent understanding of loan process
Experienced in communicating with brokers and customers
Exceptional attention to detail
Experience of working in a SME business
Strong oral and written communication skills
