Prudential Risk Manager

An opportunity for an experienced Prudential Risk professional to join a financial services organisation in a second line of defence role. You will work closely with senior risk and finance stakeholders to provide oversight and challenge across capital, stress testing and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

Provide second line oversight of prudential risks and capital management.
Review and challenge financial models used for forecasting, capital planning, ICAAP and Recovery Planning.
Run sensitivity analysis and provide clear insights and recommendations.
Support review of ICAAP, Recovery and Resolution Planning and regulatory submissions.
Interpret prudential regulation and challenge first line rule interpretations and regulatory reporting.
Assess the prudential impact of new products, strategy and business change.
Review controls, policies and frameworks relating to financial risk and capital planning.
Build effective relationships while providing constructive challenge.
Skills and experience:

Prudential risk or regulatory experience within banking, consultancy or a regulator.
Strong knowledge of capital and prudential regulation.
Experience reviewing or challenging financial models.
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
Analytical, proactive and comfortable working independently.
Able to explain complex topics clearly and build strong stakeholder relationships.
